MTL offers access to a wide range of hardware and software tools for CAD design and simulation for the benefit of the entire MIT community including access to many Computer-aided Design tools and Process-design Kits. In addition, MTL offers a number of Information Technology services to the greater MTL community such as file sharing, e-mail, backups, and network printing. If you are interested in using the MTL CAD tools or just need an MTL user account then please see our User Accounts section.
The MIT.nano Nanofabrication Facilities that once were part of MTL and are still currently located in Building 39 are in the process of being transferred to MIT.nano Building 12. In addition to the physical transfer, on-line resources and information are also being migrated to MIT.nano Users. During this transitional period, the MTL site will continue to be the main point of access for information about the services and facilities located in Building 39 but additional information about Fab.nano tools and capabilities located in Building 12 can be found on the MIT.nano Users site. If you are interested in using the MIT.nano fabrication facilities then please visit the Fab.nano section of MIT.nano Users and follow the instructions on becoming a new user.
